Monkey Floors is an Australian brand bringing those two considerations together: beautiful floors and quieter living.

## Considered from the ground up

We are developing our first acoustic flooring collection for Australian apartments and strata buildings. Our focus is on the questions that make a difference in a real home: how a floor looks, how it is installed and what the evidence says about sound.

## Make a confident choice

Choosing a floor involves more than a colour swatch. There are different materials, unfamiliar acoustic ratings and building rules to understand.

## How we approach the advice

The Monkey Floors editorial team prepares our guides using published sources. Legislation, government guidance, acoustic guidelines and manufacturer technical documents support claims about rules, ratings and installation.

We distinguish laboratory results from on-site measurements. A test for one floor construction is not evidence for every building, and a marketing claim is not a substitute for a report.

Sources appear with each guide, alongside its publication and update dates. The guides are general information. Project-specific approval, acoustic design and legal questions need the relevant professional.
